Hello!

It has been a while since this blog has been last updated. Be not alarmed, though. It is alive and well. The few webmasters we have on the DIY MKE tumblr will keep it up to date with shows, flyers, pictures, videos, etc.

Real quick, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Vince and I am one of the webmasters for this page. I recently deleted my facebook and thought, “damn, everybody promotes shows on there. I’m gonna be out of the loop.” Well, it doesn’t have to be that way. Shows have been going on long before facebook. Thus, there are plenty of alternatives to promote shows/bands/etc. And plus, nobody should be left out of the loop because they are not in someone’s circle or on the social network. Shows are public spaces and the information about them - and the scene - should be public.

With that said, I would like to invite people to email everything and anything dealing with Milwaukee DIY. That includes, but is not limited to:

- Shows (feel free to send flyers. Include all information [bands, venue, time, cost, whether or not you’d like us to post the address, etc.])

- Media (Pictures, video, and music)

- Anything else you think is relevent.

We are all very much so looking forward to another year of do-it-yourslef music in Milwaukee.
